On the morning of May 28, BOE Supplier Partner Conference (SPC) 2025 opened in Qingdao. The event brought together representatives from over 100 advanced display enterprises and more than 1,000 industry guests from around the world to explore cooperation and development opportunities. Party Chief of the CPC Qingdao Municipal Committee Zeng Zanrong met with BOE Technology Group Chairman Chen Yanshun and other key guests. Together, they toured the BOE × Supplier Partner Joint Innovation Exhibition and attended the opening ceremony.
During the meeting, Zeng Zanrong extended a warm welcome to the guests and provided a brief overview of Qingdao's economic and social development. He described Qingdao as a key coastal hub in China, boasting a strong industrial base, abundant innovation resources, clear advantages in openness, a favorable business environment, and a high quality of life—making it a fertile ground for enterprise investment and growth. Zeng noted how Qingdao, in its accelerated development of its "10+1" innovation-driven industrial system, is focused on encouraging emerging industries such as next-generation information technology particularly in the field of new display technologies. He encouraged BOE to further leverage its role as a leading enterprise—or "industrial chain leader"—in Qingdao's new display industry to attract more upstream and downstream partners to the city. He welcomed private enterprises to invest in high-quality projects in Qingdao, deepen collaborative innovation, expand application scenarios, and open up new market opportunities where this could be a collaboration to build a comprehensive new display industry ecosystem together. Zeng emphasized that Qingdao will continue to strengthen its specialized industrial parks, ensure robust resource and policy support, enhance industrial cluster development, and foster a first-class business environment that is market-oriented, law-based, and international so that private enterprises can be furnished with efficient and high-quality services.
Chen Yanshun expressed his gratitude for the strong support that the municipal administration of Qingdao is showing towards BOE's development in the city. He noted that Qingdao boasts a well-established industrial system and a vibrant innovation ecosystem that provide a solid foundation for the growth of the new display industry. Chen stated that BOE will fully leverage its strengths in technology and talent to continue expanding its operations in Qingdao, accelerate the integration of upstream and downstream resources across the industry chain, and drive forward practical, results-oriented cooperation between both sides.
At the opening ceremony, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Qingdao Municipal Committee and Secretary of both the Working Committee and District Committee of the West Coast New Area (QWCNA) Sun Yonghong delivered a presentation promoting the West Coast New Area. Fellow Member of the Standing Committee and Vice Mayor of Qingdao Geng Tao, as well as Chairperson of BOE Technology Group Chen Yanshun each delivered their remarks to the guests, with other distinguished guests giving keynote speeches as well.
Secretary-General and Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Qingdao Municipal Committee Song Mingjie, along with officials from relevant municipal departments and the West Coast New Area, also attended the event.
